Loui Eriksson
It seems like just yesterday there was a 17-goal game in Philadelphia. Wait, it was eight days ago? Well, one good offensive outburst deserves another. This time, Dallas and Colorado dropped 13 goals in an overtime classic on Friday.

1

Loui Eriksson, Dallas Stars – Eriksson assisted on Vern Fiddler's second-period goal and tallied two of his own, including the game-winner in overtime to end the Stars' 7-6 win over the Colorado Avalanche. Sheldon Souray, Alex Gologoski, Eric Nystrom and Jamie Benn had the other goals for Dallas and Kari Lehtonen stopped 34 of 40 shots for the win.

2

Steven Stamkos, Tampa Bay Lightning – Stamkos got his first hat trick of the season, scoring all three of his goals in a wild second period that saw eight goals total scored. Brett Connolly scored Tampa's other regulation goal and Vincent Lecavalier scored with less than one minute left in overtime to give the Bolts a 5-4 win.

3

T.J. Oshie, St. Louis Blues – After scoring just five points in his first 11 games, Oshie broke out, tallying two goals and an assist to lead the Blues to a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks. David Backes had the Blues' other goal and Brian Elliott stopped 28 of 30 shots.

Play of the Night

Matt Duchene dekes through about 50 Dallas Stars to complete a hat trick the hard way:

Carey Price makes this beautiful save, batting the puck out of mid-air to prevent an Ottawa goal:

Minus of the Night

Goaltenders. Three of Friday's six games had a grand total of 11 goals total scored in them. The other three? 28. Ouch.
