Talk around the NHL Monday night revolved around the Board of Governors-approved realignment proposal. I don’t know how these changes will affect each team – that’s why they play the games – but I do know that Tim Thomas had one spectacular night.
1 Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins – Thomas stopped 45 of 46 shots against the Pittsburgh Penguins, including 17 in the second period and 22 in the third, with a masterful performance in the Bruins' victory. Gregory Campbell, Benoit Pouliot and Tyler Seguin each scored for Boston, while Rich Peverley had two assists.
2 Stephen Weiss, Florida Panthers – The Panthers keep on winning and Weiss keeps on scoring, tallying two goals and an assist in Florida’s 5-4 win over the Washington Capitals. Mike Santorelli and Sean Bergenheim also scored and Dmitry Kulikov had a goal and two assists, while Scott Clemmensen stopped 28 of 32 shots.
3 Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks – The ‘Hawks lost 4-3 in a shootout but Toews continued his hot streak, scoring twice and assisting on Patrick Kane’s game-tying goal in the second. Corey Crawford was pulled after allowing three goals on 16 shots and Ray Emery was perfect in relief until the shootout.

There are some things you just don't want caught on camera if you're a pro hockey player. I'm guessing his coach adjusting his chin strap for him ranked pretty high on Brad Marchand's list:
