Marty Turco, Dallas Stars - The subject of trade rumors since the Stars acquired Kari Lehtonen from Atlanta -- and even before, when backup Alex Auld was outplaying him, Turco turned aside 40 shots in a 3-0 shutout win over the division-rival Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday.
Danny Briere, Philadelphia Flyers - Briere scored the first, fifth and sixth goals in an offensive outburst for the Flyers, who beat the Montreal Canadiens 6-2. The hat trick broke a six-game goalless drought for Briere, who has 21 goals on the season.
Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings - Not ready for the rigors of a full NHL season? Quick only seems to be getting better as he goes along. In his last start before joining Team USA for the Olympics, the 24-year-old made 22 saves for his second shutout of the season and his NHL-leading 35th win between the pipes.
