First Star: Jordan Staal, Pittsburgh Penguins - When you outshoot an opponent 55-16, you'd better win and that's just what Jordan Staal allowed the Pens to do. Saving Marc-Andre Fleury's skin after Fleury let in four goals on 12 shots, Staal tipped Evgeni Malkin's shot from the point to beat Henrik Lundqvist.  Staal also assisted on Chris Kunitz's powerplay goal in the first period and was the beneficiary of a lucky bounce for his first period goal.

Second Star: Nik Antropov, Atlanta Thrashers - After the trade of Kovalchuk, it's easy to forget that the Thrashers are in the midst of a battle for the playoff race. Antropov was brilliant all night against the Islanders as he assisted on Niclas Bergfors goal to open the scoring in the first on a beautiful passing play. He then notched one of his own just a few minutes later on a beautiful snapshot, then had a beautiful tip for a powerplay goal in the second.

Third Star: Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers - It's rare that a goalie gets a star in defeat, but when you have to put up with the barrage of shots that Henrik Lundqvist did and still manage to have a better than 90% save percentage? Well, you're well on your way. Lundqvist faced 55 shots total over three periods and overtime, including a third period that saw the Rangers get outshot by a margin of 19-1. In fact, the only reason that the Rangers made it to overtime was because of King Henrik's brilliance between the pipes.
