Check out that flow.
From Guy Lafleur’s long locks flowing in the wind to Jaromir Jagr’s mullet dominating the score sheet, hockey players have created hairstyles as unique and creative as the game itself.
This isn't simply be a contest of whose hair comes closest to the middle of the logo on their chest. Taking a balanced approach, here is the list of the top 10 hairstyles in the NHL today:

10. Duncan Keith
The missing teeth just added to it; Keith looked like a healthy mix of lumberjack and warrior during the playoffs. His red beard and long locks matched his war-torn Blackhawks jersey to perfection, especially when he lifted Lord Stanley’s Cup.
9. Mark Messier
You can’t argue with a classic. One of the game’s greatest captains still looks sharp with his clean-shaven look. And I would still pick him if I needed a leader for a Game 7.
8. Scott Hartnell
His game is meant to be “in your face”, and so is his hair. By the end of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, Hartnell was sporting a nice mix between Chewbacca and Tarzan. We wonder, was he was hiding snacks in his beard for between periods?
7. Henrik Zetterberg
It’s tough to tell who the Swedish supermodel is, Zetterberg or his new bride Emma Andersson. Zetterberg’s hair always looks movie-star worthy, and you have to look good to pull off those strange one-piece bathing suits at the wedding party.
6. Brian Engblom
The player-turned-analyst has long distracted Versus viewers with his 'do. It seems as though his producers finally got through to him – Engblom’s mullet is starting to shrink. And that’s good news for hockey fans everywhere.
5. George Parros
It is starting to lose a little momentum in the mainstream media hair discussions, but the Parros ‘stache still has to be mentioned in this type of article. Anything that can motivate Snoop Dogg to wear a fake mustache to a hockey game earns a high ranking on this list.
4. Zack Stortini
Keeping with the "tough guys who have sweet hair" theme, Stortini comes in fourth on this list. Anybody who has hair that flies around like this during a fight is OK in our book.
3. Mike Babcock
It may come as a surprise to find a coach this high on the list, but Babcock’s hair is establishing its own fan base. The Red Wings’ coach and bench boss for Team Canada never has a strand out of place, and people are catching on. His hair even has its own Facebook page, with over 2,700 fans.
2. Mike Fisher
Fisher has the ultimate "hockey hair" – long and scraggly. Looks good either under a helmet or a baseball cap. Yet the main reason Fisher’s hairstyle ranked so high on this list is because it apparently caught the eye of new wife Carrie Underwood. Anybody who can win over a celebrity like Underwood must know what he's doing in front of a mirror.
1. Patrick Kane
Some people may not like this choice (especially Philly fans), but Kane’s haircut was one of the highlights of the playoffs this year. His retro mullet won over the Windy City – which isn’t easy to do – and looked pretty sweet as he scored the game-winning goal to clinch the Stanley Cup.
