As the final second ticked off the clock at the United Center Saturday night, the first note of The Fratelli’s "Chelsea Dagger" exploded over the speaker system, while arms and a hat were thrown in the air. At first glance, The House That Jordan Made Famous appeared to celebrate yet another championship.

The NHL will have two outdoor games in the 2010-11 season.
In addition to the Winter Classic between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins at Heinz Field on New Year's Day, the Montreal Canadiens will play the Flames at Calgary's McMahon Stadium on Feb. 20, 2011.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have selected Detroit Red WIngs vice president and Hockey Canada executive director Steve Yzerman to become the sixth general manager in franchise history.
The 45-year-old Yzerman was the choice of new owner Jeff Vinik, who fired general manager Brian Lawton in April.
