The NHL announced its master broadcast schedule Thursday. It's the first year of a historic 10-year pact between the league and NBC, one that reportedly cost $2 billion over its duration.

Highlighting the schedule is the long-rumored Winter Classic game in Philadelphia between the Flyers and Rangers, scheduled for 1 p.m. EST on Jan. 2. Another 22 games will air on NBC this season, all on Saturday or Sunday with the exception of a Nov. 25 — "Black Friday" — game between the Red Wings and Bruins in Boston at 1 p.m. EST.

The defending Stanley Cup champions will make 17 appearances between NBC and Versus this season, as will the Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers. The Pittsburgh Penguins were selected for 16 games, the Washington Capitals 15, the Blackhawks 13, the Buffalo Sabres 12 and the Tampa Bay Lightning 11.

The complete schedule — which also includes games on TSN, TSN2, RDS and the NHL Network — can be downloaded as a spreadsheet here.
