Dallas Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas received an automatic one-game suspension for boarding Anaheim forward Matt Beleskey in the Ducks' 5-2 win Tuesday.

Robidas received a game misconduct penalty for the third-period hit, his second game misconduct penalty in the same category in the past 41 games. Per NHL rules, that triggers an automatic suspension. Robidas also received a game misconduct for boarding San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe on March 16.

Beleskey had full mobility after the game and took the team flight back to Anaheim for a full evaluation.

"I didn't want to hurt him at all, and I hope he's not hurt," Robidas told the Dallas Morning News. "It was just an unfortunate play."

Dallas recalled defenseman Philip Larsen from the American Hockey League's Texas Stars. Robidas will sit out Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings and is eligible to return in Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
